Atlantic Beach

Jacksonville’s northern most beach town, Atlantic Beach has it all. From an oceanfront home built into a sand dune, multi million dollar compounds on the ocean, to Florida Cracker shacks in Mayport Village. The southeast corner hosts the Beaches Town Center and the beautiful high rise hotel, One Ocean Resort & Spa. Limited parking keeps the beaches from being crowded, once you get a few blocks north of Atlantic Blvd. A very high price point from the shoreline to the intersection of Plaza and Seminole Road. Properties to the south and west of that 5 way intersection become way more affordable, with the lowest priced properties on and along Mayport Road. The Atlantic Beach Country Club can be found in the Selva Marina neighborhood. Large lots with a seaside oak canopy make this area very unique, as well as the ancient sand dune that runs through it. There are smaller parks with ball fields and tennis courts, but the Queen Jewel is Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. With about a mile and one half of beach, this 450 acre park offers camping, bike trails, fishing, and the best surfing in the area.
